This workbook, you guys. Oh man. It’s filled to the brim with gentle reminders to make happiness a priority. With every flip of the page, Amanda nudges you to remember that the life you want is something you have to work for, and though the work requires your focus, it’s an enjoyable path to self-discovery. I think my favorite thing about the workbook is imagining that Amanda was at one point in my shoes—searching, hoping for a heart of content, so I know it’s tried and true.
Just writing down these details makes me aware of who I am showing care for, and who I need to tend to more. I love this workbook! I think I really needed a tool to help me see where I needed to cultivate my relationships and how!
One of the things I love about working in The Cultivated Heart workbook is reflecting and finding out what's truly in my heart. When I came across the Giving section, I was surprised when I started writing things down, money was not the first thing I wrote. For the longest time, I thought giving = money. I found out that wasn't the case for me. My time, my encouragement, my attention, my talents, my words...those are ways I can also give. Money helps, sure, but giving our time and gifts is just as important, if not more.
